This sample is a guideline for preparing technical papers using LaTeX for manuscript submission for all Journals of OUP*. This sample article uses a class file named ouparticle.cls that authors should use for their manuscript preparation. It is similar in use to the article class file of LaTeX, but has some extra fields in the preamble and some extended commands for other parts of the article.
*Note: this template is from 2009, and we recommend checking the latest author guidelines for your intended target OUP journal before starting to prepare your manuscript.
Applied Mathematics Research eXpress is a wide-scope high quality journal that cares about your submission and will process it quickly, authoritatively, and safely.
Applied Mathematics Research eXpress (AMRX), an Oxford University Press Journal, publishes research articles of high current interest dealing with the use of mathematics in all areas of research, usually in the form of mathematical/computational models and algorithms. Articles addressing problems in areas as diverse as fluid mechanics, molecular simulation, physics, biology, statistical mechanics, materials science, finance, are particularly welcome. Theoretical articles with promising applications will also be considered.

LaTeX template and example article for the preparation of submissions to Molecular Biology and Evolution (MBE).
For more details and submission guidelines, please see the Oxford Journals MBE website.
Note: A \vvp command needs to be manually added at the point where the text is suppose to end on the first page, so remember to adjust \vvp from its current position in the template to suit your writing.
This is a template and guide for preparing papers for PNAS Nexus using the oup-authoring-template class file.
See the pnas-nexus-authoring-template.tex file (included and used by default when opening the template) for a simple template to help you get started.
The pnas-nexus-authoring-template.tex file (also included) provides instructions for using the additional features in the document class. This is not a general guide on how to use LaTeX, and nor does it replace the journal's instructions to authors.
This is a template and guide for preparing papers for the official journals of the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications (IMA):
IMA Journal of Applied Mathematics
IMA Journal of Numerical Analysis
IMA Journal of Management Mathematics
IMA Journal of Mathematical Control and Information
Mathematical Medicine and Biology: A Journal of the IMA
Information and Inference: A Journal of the IMA
Teaching Mathematics and its Applications: An International Journal of the IMA
Transactions of Mathematics and its Applications
Please use the template and its instructions in conjunction with the guidelines on the website of the journal to which you plan to submit: https://academic.oup.com/ima.
The Quarterly Journal of Mechanics and Applied Mathematics publishes original research articles on the application of mathematics to the field of mechanics interpreted in its widest sense. In addition to traditional areas, such as fluid and solid mechanics, the editors welcome submissions relating to any modern and emerging areas of applied mathematics.
For more information about the journal, see http://qjmam.oxfordjournals.org/.
International Mathematics Research Notices provides very fast publication of research articles of high current interest in all areas of mathematics. All articles are fully refereed and are judged by their contribution to advancing the state of the science of mathematics.
For more information about the journal, see http://imrn.oxfordjournals.org/.
Systematic Biology is the bimonthly journal of the Society of Systematic Biologists. Papers for the journal are original contributions to the theory, principles, and methods of systematics as well as phylogeny, evolution, morphology, biogeography, paleontology, genetics, and the classification of all living things. A Points of View section offers a forum for discussion, while book reviews and announcements of general interest are also featured.
For more information about the journal, see http://sysbio.oxfordjournals.org/.
This template is derived from the GigaScience LaTeX template. The original template is now customised to GigaBytes requirement and can be used to submit Updates for GigaBytes. Overleaf and Oxford University Press (OUP) have created the initial template for authors submitting manuscripts to GigaScience.
This template allows authors to prepare and edit their manuscripts in the OUP 'contemporary' layout used by GigaBytes.
To begin writing, simply click the Open as Template button, above. Additional guidelines for preparing your submission are included within the template itself.
